Here, in this blog, I will share some information about the coins I have collected and some other coins which I wish to have in my collection. May be, if I come across some intresting facts during my research, I will write about them too. I am also planning to publish images and information of coins which I collects from various other sources and document here(with proper attribution!).
I had this hobby of coin collectoin when I was around 13. But could not continue it due to lot of limitations like money time access(internet and computer were not available back then) and major limitation being my introverted shy personality due to which I could not gather much coins back then. However, now whith the help of Internet and other resources, I am able to restart my old hobby.
You may find many of the coins mentioned in this blog is from South India and in particular to the Princely State of Travancore. I have an interest in these places because I was born and brought up in the same place currently known as Thiruvananthapuram/Trivandrum
